On this page you will learn how to control Assets through the management tab in Kelvin SmartApps™ section of Kelvin UI.

Start / Stop Kelvin SmartApps™ for Asset

In Kelvin SmartApps™ you have the ability to start and stop each Asset individually in a Kelvin SmartApp™.

When you stop Kelvin SmartApp™ for an Asset, the Kelvin SmartApp™ will no longer process the data coming from the Asset and will not produce any output calculations, control changes or send recommendations to the Operations Engineers for this Asset.

The Kelvin SmartApp™ will continue processing data for the other Assets.

To control any Asset in a Kelvin SmartApp™, go to SmartApps™ dashboard page and select the Kelvin SmartApp™ where your Assets have been deployed.

Click on the Management tab, and you can see a list of Assets for the Kelvin SmartApp™.

If you have a large number of Assets in a Kelvin SmartApp™, you can use the filters to quickly find the Asset of interest.

Start / Stop Commands

You can control, on a per-Asset basis, whether the Kelvin SmartApp™ processes each Asset.

Start - The Kelvin SmartApp™ will start to process input data for your Asset and produce the output data required.

Stop - The Kelvin SmartApp™ will stop processing data for your Asset.

You can also control multiple Assets at the same time by selecting the Assets and then choosing a bulk action to take for all.
